1957Four generations, one family

Our story

One name. Four generations. The same promise.

This isn't only a shop. It's a family business that grew alongside the homes of Cuddalore.

1957 — The beginning Our great-grandfather, E. Duraiswamy, started the family business on Lawrence Road under the name Sri Jothi Ever Silver Mart.
A new name In time the shop became Jyothe & Jyothe — Ungal Family Shop.
2011 — The big outlet The large outlet store opened on Velli Mottan Street, just outside the market street.
Today — the 4th generation Customers came to trust the Jyothe name because the quality held and the price was fair — without a single rupee of bargaining. Today they aren't just customers. They're members of the Jyothe family.
